Elsie Mae Begay, Navajo activist and community member featured in the film, Navajo nuclear scientist Perry Charley and director Jeff Spitz will hold a post-show discussion on the progress of the EPA clean-up currently removing thousands of tons of radioactive waste from Begay’s backyard.

This event is part of an Oregon college tour organized by Linda Richards, a Sylff fellow enrolled in the History of Science PhD program at Oregon State University. For more information, please see Richards’ recent article on Return of Navajo Boy.


When: Friday, October 7 from 5:15PM-7:15PM with discussion to follow.
